The Hunting Grounds of the Singureni domain are situated between the villages of Singureni and Calugareni. Calugaru-Singureni forest and Singureni Deal forest are part of a vast expanse of forest grounds that used to be called ‘The Vlasiei Forest".
‘Codrii Vlasiei’ was the name given to the ancestral forests covering a vast region in southern Romania, including the city of Bucharest and the county of Ilfov. Forests stretching from southern Slanic Prahova county in the north and to the Neajlov river edge in the south.
The beauty and historic significance of this forest is only surpassed by the animal diversity that make the hunting grounds stand out from all the other hunting grounds in Romania.
Hunting in Romania can be organized on request for authorized hunters or members of hunting clubs worldwide in accordance with the Romanian law. Most hunting seasons in Romania for all big game, small game, waterfowl and upland game runs from mid-autumn to late winter
